Face burning / itchy / flaky

by kriss673, Aug 18, 2009 12:51PM
Hi.  For quite a few years now the skin on my face has got worse.  Anything I use to moisturise with just makes it flare up - red, itchy, dry, flaky.  My cheeks are constantly red and burn and itchy.  I can't seem to find anything that works and forget about any cleanser!!  Think the sun may make it worse.  I think I must be allergic to something but can't get to the bottom of it.  Went to the Drs a few years ago but was only given some cream that did nothing.  Can dig out if anyone is interested.  Also, about 17 year ago had a bad reaction to Imperial Leather bath stuff, made me come out in hives, since then I have trouble finding anything that doesn't make my skin itch after showering (they also make me burn "down below" too which is very unpleasant).  Any ideas anyone, the face thing is really getting me down now as it is constantly burning.  Thanks.
