Facial Rash

I have developed a rash on my face, specifically both cheeks. Please note the particulars:
The rash is quite red
It does not itch
There are no bumps or blisters
It does sting
There is a very light dry skin/skin peel going on
It seems to be worse in the morning, and lessens in the afternoon
It has lasted approximately (3) days
I have had this before. It seems to happened about twice per year.
The last time it showed up, it lasted approximately (10) days.
The only medication I take is fiorinol and fiorinol/codiene for headaches, and HRT patch
I am a 50 year old female in really good health.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.

i had apimple on my face I messed with it, and it got worst then I popped it, and I got the puss and core out of it,then I notice it was still not healing like it's supposed to be.  I think it got infected it kinda looks like ringworm.  What's should I put on it, that would get rid of it and take care of my skin?

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Souns like eczema.  Tery over-the-counter 1% hydrocortisone twice a day for a couple of days.  If that makes it go away, stop and resume as needed.  If the rash does not respond, or if it comes back at once, then perhaps you should show it to a skin doctor.

Eczema is a hereditary sensitivity that comes and goes for no special reason.  Allergy to foods or prodcuts are often blamed, but rarely with real cause.

Best.
