Facial Rash??

i have developed small red itchy spots all over my face, they are sorda rough and sometimes cause small raised bumps. I have had this problem for about 1 year now. I have been to 2 dermatologist and my regular doctor. They don't seem to know what it is but we are currently treating it like eczema. This isn't working either.

I am a 20 year old female. I do have mild acne problems and have had them for years. I also have had tinea versicolor, but use a topical steroid and it stays cleared up. i didn't get this until about 6 months into to my previous pregnancy. I am 4 months out and still have alot of problems with it. some days its worse. I also have a similar( maybe the same) rash on my arms and legs but it seems to be a little better. My mom seems to be having similar problems but hasn't seen a dermatologist.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL

Hi,

How old are you?

Are you male or female?

Eczematous skin conditions may vary in terms of presentation and they may likely be the diagnosis especially if the conditions appears to be non infectious and other possible conditions do not seem to fit the case. In your case, rosacea, acne in its nodular or severe form as well as fungal infection may be considered. However, fungal infections usually appear in patches and rarely do they involve large and extensive areas of the body unless the person is immunocompromised.

I suggest that you have this assessed by a rheumatologist also.
