About 2 years ago I had a crazy sneezing fit and used my hayfever nasalAllergic rhinitis Juvenile angiofibroma Nasal Nasal 12 hour Nasal anatomy Nasal biopsy Nasal congestion Nasal cpap Nasal decongestant Nasal decongestant tablet Nasal decongestant-antihistamine spray about 20 times in one day. The next morning I woke up with a faceFace pain of brightBright beginnings red massive lumpsLumps in the breasts either side of my noseNose fracture and across my faceFace pain. Since then my skin has gone from bad to worse. I now have scaly, raised with enlarged pores, red patches either side of my face with lots of flaking pustles that are sore and very dry. Doctors told me it was acne but I eventually decided it was steroid-induced rosacea. However, more recently I wonder if it is actually seb derm damage from the steroids. My skin doesnt flush as such, and exercise doesnt make it worse. Washing in water aggrivates it but I cant pinpoint it to any foods in particular so think it is localised.
I have tried lots of different creams, diets and antibiotics, some of which worked for a time. Someone has suggested nasal rinsing to clear toxins still in my nasal passages which could be infecting my face.
It's hard to see a dermatologist in the uk unless i see one privately and pay alot as the national health ones i have seen are not so great and try to prescribe steroids or antibiotics which have already given me a blood disorder!
any advice - does this sound like seb derm to you? e45 cream seems to help which i have just started using.
