Facial staph spread to eye?

by oceancloud, Mar 02, 2008 08:43AM
Is it possible that a skin lesion near the lower part of my face could spread to my eye? My eyes have been watering, as if it were allergy season. Now one eye is red, inflamed and scratchy, as if something is in it.

My doctor prescribed Amoxic/Clav for the lesion and I started taking it yesterday. This morning I woke up with my face even more inflamed (although the lesion looks about the same, perhaps better?) and my eye swollen, red, scratchy.

This discussion is related to Facial staph infection.
