flared up so bad that I was embarrassed to leave the house for days. I called my dr. and got an on call nurse who told me to use the Triamcinolone cream that I was already using for some eczema on my arms and legs. I used the cream successfully but in my quest to get back to my original skincare regime, I had a relapse of the flareup. I continued to use the Triamcinolone occasionally over the course of a few months and now I am noticing depression areas in my facial
and my skin still feels dehydrated. I went to a dermatologist today who barely looked at the atrophy and thinness and prescribed me Mimyx cream and didn't address my clearly atrophied areas of my skin. She told me that my sensitive skin should be cleared up with the Mimyx cream and that I could go back to using my past skincare regime without any problems in about a month. Previous to my run in with this steroid cream, I could pretty much use any kind of bha or aha and not have too much of a reaction
hurts. Help!!! I have another appointment with a different dermatologist in 2 weeks hoping to get my atrophy addressed but am I just overreacting and the Mimyx cream will solve my issues in time?
