Fatty deposits

When my daughter was 8 months old she was covered EVERYWHERE on her body with dots of varying sizes. They changed and became thick. She had one removed and was diagnosed as having juvenile x----------? They eventually went away but she still has some scars.Is she proned to having high cholesterol or any other problems internally because she had these things?

I think you're referring to xanthomas. These are fatty deposits. Some cases are indeed asociated with hereditray high cholesterol and related blood fats. But kids also get a condition called, "xanthogranuloma,' which is not a true xanthoma and is not associated with anything excpet going away, as your child's did. You should ask your doctor whether the biopsy was consistent with one or the other, but most likely you will learn that all is OK.
