Filiform wart on the face

Hi,
I am a 20 something girl, with a filiform( from what i researched) wart on my face. I do not have insurance , so cannot go to a dermatologist. I am willing to try appliying salicylic acid. But I am confused about the concentration. I cuurently use a 2% salicylic acid cream to treat my acne. Will this do, or do i need to go higher. Please help soon.
