Fingernails seperating from Nailbed due to nailhardener

Hello

4 months ago I used a nail hardener treatment with formaldehyde. I used it for about 2-3 weeks. my nails became hard but then some of my nails started lifting from the nailbed. Meaning the nailwhite is growing backwards and there is space between the nail and nailbed.
When I did the hardener treatment it used to burn a little (I thought that was normal, as the description mention minor burning).

I am letting my nails grow out and some got better but 2 are verry stubborn. I keep them clean and dry. I also try to clean between the space. But I think due to that it doesnt reaatach at some spaces.

I have no pain and no nail fungus. It is just funny looking and I hate it.
Please help.

Any medication/cream/oitment you can recommend?

P.S I showed it to my doc and she said just do grow it out, but is has been more than 3 months.

Oh, and do not clean under the nail during this process.

Cut off the loose nail portion close to the skin without cutting into the skin.  A pair of fingernail nippers or fingernail scissors work best.  Then brush on pure tea tree oil a couple of times a day.
