Lately the fingertips of both handsHand or foot spasms Hand tremor, (worse on the left) have felt wet and looked mildly pruned/winkled. Even when they do not looked wrinkled or pruned I have the sensation or feeling that they feel wet or damp.
Last year I was diagnosed with a very mild case of MS..could this be a symptom of the MS?
What could be causing this? While it isn't extremely bothersome it is noticed and worries me that something else is going on with my body.
Without any obvious stimuli, this may be something which is nerveNerve biopsy Nerve conduction velocity related. A history of MS may contribute to your symptoms. Are these new onset symptoms? or have you experienced this before?
Thank you very much for your reply.
These symptoms are new and I would say about 80-90% persistent, with the damp sensation consistently persistent.
I do not have prolonged exposure to water and try to avoid it...I don't think I abnormally wash my handsHand or foot spasms Hand tremor, probably 2-3 time a day.
It takes so long to get in with my neurologist, probably by the time I would go to see him the symptoms might be gone, who knows.
Hi Patty,
I found that my own fingertips are getting wrinkled, and I have been on line checking out causes. The wrinkles are running along the length of the finger, not across the finger. I am checking out Vitamin A deficientcy,Thyroid problem, and reaction to a blood pressure medicine. I have not found an answer so far. Good Luck

I suggest that you seek follow up consult with your neurologist for a complete physical examination.
