Flaking Skin on penis

On the head of my penis - the skin has "shedded" and is pinker then the rest of it. The skin has flaked off. I have a small slight sore that does not hurt my doctor said that I have nothing to worry about that I was masterbating (masturbating) too much and to give it a break. I have and after 30 days it has not totally went away. I have not had sex in over 6 months.
I have tested negitive for everything since I last had sex (about 5 months ago). Are the blood tests inaccurate at times and will they give a false positive? Can I rule out herpes because of the blood test and the lack of pain?  Can I rule out Syphilis because of the blood test and the lack of a huge chancre and other symtoms (symptoms) - would syphilis show up that delayed?  Could this be a Yeast infection (like 5 months after sex?)? This outbreak came out of nowhere and does not want to seem to completely go away... The skin has healed but is like a tougher skin that is a brighter pink and I am nervous - Should I get another test ? When will skin be the same color as the rest of the penis head? Any thoughts / ideas? I have taken 3 aids test - all negitive.  Should I take another test for Herpes and Syphilis ?

After irritation, the sensitive skin of the penis can be reddish for a long time.  I'm not sure that at this point you have anything wrong with you at all.  I see no need for further STD testing.  You should direct your questions and concerns to the doctor who examined you, explaining that you are still worried and need additional reassurance.

Please answer these two questions: Does a blood test give a false negative? After initial contact with unprotected sex how long can the symptoms / indicators be surpressed? These answers would help me and my anxiety alot - my old doctor could not give me a straight answer.. Will you please?
