Flat red rash near back after itching

This morning i had a bad itch a few times before i was fully awake and when i got to work i noticed i had this little patch of red spots where the itch had been..  They are completely flat and do not itch/are not painful at all I think i have gotten something similar before and it just fades away but I was hoping someone could identify it.

The picture is sideways the irritated area is about 8 inches below my arm pit and almost located near my shoulder blade.

This itchy, flat red rash can be due to contact dermatitis, allergies, hives or heat rash. You can apply some calamine lotion at the rash as it will help in soothing the skin. You can take some OTC oral antihistamine medications like Benadryl or Claritin and see if it helps.
Also apply some mild topical steroid cream. If the symptoms are severe then you may need oral steroids. Please consult a dermatologist then.
