Flat warts all over body!

I have just found flat warts all over my body!  It started with a few on my pubic area (none on my penis) and then i noticed them on my inner thigh, stomach, and arms.  At first I thought that they were genital warts but they are in other areas besides my pubic area.  What are they, how did I get them, and what I am i looking at for recovery?  Also, how easily is it for me to infect someone else with them?
