Is it necessary to be taking a zithromax treatment and bactroban cream at the same time?

Hi,

Zithromax is an macrolide antibiotic that fights bacteria in the body. It is used to treat many different types of infections caused by bacteria, such as respiratory infections, skin infections, ear infections, and sexually transmitted diseases. If you are referring to folliculitis, zithromax is not indicated. Just continue with the bactroban cream.  Warmcompressmay also help. Folliculitis may resolve on its own after a few days and has a tendency to recur.

Take care and keep us posted.
