Follicle Bump?

Hello Dr, I have a question about a problem that's been going on for about a month. I have what appears to be a red "clump" or a raised mark in my pubic hair about "---" wide or slightly less. This bump doesn't itch, doesn't hurt and has just gotten a little more red (I've been messing with it) as I've had it. It had two hairs growing out of it, I plucked both of them thinking it may be an ingrown hair, but it didn't have the symptoms of an ingrown hair. I have an appointment tomorrow with a doctor to see what it is, I'm worried it's an STD but I'm confused about two hairs growing out of it, and they appeared to be growing out of the same follicle. I plucked them a few days ago and it got smaller but has yet to go away. Do you have any advice on what this could be? It's bugging me quite a bit. I also had what appeared to be another ingrown hair or one developing slightly above it, which I plucked (again two hairs) and one of the hair roots was considerably thicker than the other I plucked, and it's pretty much gone away.

From the symptoms it can be a cyst. Generally no treatment is required but they become painful then it means they are infected, Then surgical excision by traditional wide excision, minimal excision, and punch biopsy excision may be required.
