Folliculitis head pain?
I was diagnosed with folliculitis and was just wondering if this can cause sharp head pains? There are bumps where I get the pains but I wasn't sure if this was the cause.

Hello,
Folliculitis or infected hair follicles can causing localized pain where the pain is centered around the infected hair follicles and not causing a diffuse head pain. Folliculitis starts when hair follicles are damaged by friction from clothing or blockage of the follicle. In most cases of folliculitis, the damaged follicles are then infected with the bacteria Staphylococcus (staph).

Use the topical antibiotics that you have been prescribed by your dermatologist.
I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
