Folliculitis on scalp, medications, hair damage

I have had folliculitis on my scalp for about 15 months. I have been prescribed Kenalog solution, Kenalog spray, and more recently, fluocinodide. The last one helped the most, but it is still bad. I will go back to the doctor as sonn as I can. I noticed about    3 months ago that I have lost some hair, and that my hair is damaged, all down the shaft--frizzed, dry, with  breakage. Resembles hair chemical damage, but it is not. The damage shows in some areas more than others.

Could the medications have cause the damage, or the condition?
