Folliculitis or Keratosis pillars?

Ok so for years now I have struggled with ingrown hairs mostly on my inner thighs and upper legs area I have thought it was folliculitis and have taken antibiotics before which worked but these lil bumps always come back sometimes more painful than others I have shaved my legs before but stopped and I do shave my chest and arms where I occasionally get some ingrown hairs but not as bad as my legs when I look closely I see that my hair follicles are very noticeable and visible all over my legs and arms mostly and I can remember when I was a kid I had a lot of tiny bumps on my upper arms which sort of faded over time although a little bit is still there which one of these could this be!?

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
For ingrown hair, apply warm compresses and keep the area clean. Other treatment options include tweezing, exfoliating with facial scrubs, sponges, towels or creams containing acid and ibuprofen or other NSAIDs. Topical application of dilute glycolic acid and salicylic prepared solutions are also helpful. You can consult a dermatologist and discuss these treatment options with him.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

And lastly I do work out a lot and run 2 miles daily could that be a factor with the bumps on legs?
