Hello -

I posted with you back in March.  To recap:  From Jan 15-Feb 15 I was exposed a couple of times to a girl with genital warts.  In April I saw a urologist as a check up and he inspected very closely and saw nothing.  Today its been about 4 months since exposure and to the best of my knowledge I see nothing that would resemble a wart.  I use protection and try not to think about it...my doctor felt that the first 2-3 months was when most warts show their face and if I make it past that, their likely hood of showing up diminishes, but doesn't go away completely.

I did notice last week a small red bump, on the underside of my penis, almost halfway down the shaft.  It seems like one of the many small little glands that dot the underside of my penis is just a bit irratated, plus I was messing with it.  If I leave it alone the redness calms down a bit, I have also put a little neosporin on, trying to speed the healing.  I think its getting better, but I am not sure...right now I am not messing with it.
It does not resemble anything I know of warts.

I wanted to get your opinion on what my doctor is telling me and also of this red bump.  Thanks.

What your doctor is telling you sounds quite reasonable.

As to the bump, it does not indeed sound like a wart.  If you leave it alone, it's likely to go away, and then you can forget about it.

Best.
