Foreskin Problem

by Tim94, Feb 11, 2009 12:17PM
Hey

I'm 14 years old, and I have a problem with my penis. I cannot pull back my foreskin past the head of my penis, not even close; and it's worrying me. I when I do pull it back, I can only see the hole, (like a little slit) and that's it. Nothing else. I belive there is something there that is holding it back. If I do pull back hard, the head comes out ( a tiny tiny bit) instead of the foreskin coming back! From the front of my penis (where I look down on it) I can pull the foreskin out, and I know that it is coming away from the head, all the way around to the back until it hits this certain spot that is not letting go!!! There is a line, ( which all men have ) down the back which comes all the way up to the head, which is directley by the "bit" holding my foreskin back. I don't know if I should slowly move it back everyday? Because it just WON'T budge at all. It's completely stuck. I don't want to go to the doctors, can anyone help? Also, I read that if you don't pull back your foreskin, while putting on a condom it can break the condom, obviously NOT wanting that to happen. PLEASE help.

All the best.

Hi,

Phimosis or tight foreskin, may be present a birth or acquired. This could be caused by preputial stenosis that prevents retraction, by fusion of the foreskin with the glans penis, or by frenulum breve, which prevents retraction. This may lead to discomfort or pain during urination or sexual intercourse. This could be resolved through medical or surgical ( circumcision) means.  I would recommend that you have this evaluated by your doctor for proper management. You can read more about this through this link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phimosis

Take care and regards.
