Foreskin swells and pains after masturbation

Foreskin swells and pains after masturbation

Iam a 40 yrs old male, active in sex. Past 2 yrs I'm experiencing difficulty in masturbation as my foreskin gets minute cuts and swells up which burns a lot. I have only one sex partner and we used to have unprotected sex. I got checkups from a dermetologist for STD and other infections which was negative. Now the foreskin tightens during erection and if I rub it it makes my life hell. This was never a case in the history of 20yrs...This would make me hard to run my married life with my wife...! Kindly suggest me the best therapy to follow...

Regards

Hello,
This can be due to adhesion formation after getting the cuts or phimosis of the penis. Phimosis is a constriction of the opening of the foreskin so that it cannot be drawn back over the tip of the penis.

Treatment includes application of a steroid cream to the foreskin up to three times a day for about a month to loosen the adhesive ring.If ballooning during micturition is present, then surgical removal of all or part of the foreskin(circumcision) may be recommended.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

Thanks for your reply...My doc told me its not Phimosis and gave me Iodine Povidone ointment which helps me temporarily. But yet I have problems of foreskin tightening during erection and for sure it generates minute cuts and swells with buring which takes 2-3 days of time to heal.My doc told you dont have much problem and adviced not to apply steroids. Pls advice how to get rid of this permanently.

Thanku

Hello,
It can be due to adhesion formation also or due to chafing skin or skin disease like eczema skin. Application of steroids is beneficial in all of these and hence I suggest you to consult a dermatologist to confirm the diagnosis.

I hope it helps. Take care and regards.

Dear Doc...

Thanks again for your advice. I dont know if the surgery would be necessary. I have no idea how eczema could be detected and the tests to confirm it. But I want to avoid surgery as much a last resort. I would consider to see my doc for the specific diagnosis and treatement.

Thank you

Best..
