Fucidin Cream

Can someone please tell me what other creams do the same job as fucidin cream, I want an OTC cream for folliculitus (folliculitis) on my penis?

The active ingredient is fusidic acid 2%.

The other ingredients are butylhydroxyanisole
(E320), cetyl alcohol, glycerol, liquid paraffin,
polysorbate 60, potassium sorbate, purified
water and white soft paraffin.

Instead of Fucidin which is a topical antibiotic, you can use other topical antibiotics like Mupirocin or Neosporin. Folliculitis starts when hair follicles are damaged by friction from clothing or blockage of the follicle. In most cases of folliculitis, the damaged follicles are then infected with the bacteria Staphylococcus (staph).

Please keep the area clean and apply some topical antiseptics. Also wear loose-fitting cotton clothing and use an antibacterial soap or mild soap like dove. Avoid any kind of cosmetics.

I was prescribed Fucidine cream for a rash on my thighs, then Bactroban which seemed to work better!
