Fungal infection on mons pubis area

Fungal infection on mons pubis area

First of all English is not my first language so I'm going to have problem describing what I have. It's freaking me out. I know I should go to

Secondly, I don't really know if it's a fungal infection, but I think it started out as ringworms. I caught the thing from the stray kittens I took in around September. That's when I started noticing these itchy flaky rings on my arms, stomach, buttocks and legs.

The first doctor I went to actually misdiagnosed it as an allergy to cats/eczema (he didn't really explain it to me), but then I realised that they could be ringworms when an online friend pointed it out to me, that I might have ringworms. I looked up pictures online and they matched what I had. I went to the chemist and he gave me ketoconozale (spelling?) tablets to be taken for 10 days straight and anti-fungal cream.

They seemed to work until I noticed flaky round patches on my mons. They made the hair around the area brittle. I put antifungal cream on there. The patches went away but the hair remained brittle. The skin also looked a little flaky
(or chalky?) to me, like not like normal. I mean if I scratch the area white skin matters would come off, like tiny flakes. I kept applying anti-fungal cream.

I probably shouldn't have shaved my mons but I did. A few days after I noticed this painful bump (boil?) on my mons. I thought it was ingrown hair so I ignored it. It grew bigger, and then when I popped it puss mixed with blood came out. I tried to drain it, hoping the bump would go down but it didn't go down all the way.

Now I have another similar bum. I don't know what's causing them. Maybe it's the shaving plus the fungal infection.

Whatever it is causing the flaky skin on my mons, it's surely spreading because more hair around the area is becoming brittle. The skin's also become crusty after I scratch. When I peel the crust away the skin underneath feels sticky and raw.

Can anyone advice me on what it could be? It's getting more serious but I'm worried about going to the doctor.

I actually went to another doctor other than the one who misdiagnosed it. I was only given the blue/purple liquid (can't remember the name, for fungal infection), anti-fungal cream and aqueous (spelling?) cream, but the meds obviously didn't work because I still have it. I read that doctor's supposed to scrape a bit of the skin & examine it, but none of the doctors did that. I only showed them the round patches on my arms thinking the ones I had on my mons were the same thing.

Sorry for writing too long. I don't know how to make it short.
