Gen Warts and CO2 Laser Side Effects

Hi Dr.  
I am really going a bit crazy.  I have had HPV for 15+ years, however, its been very mild, with a small bump removed every 2-3 years.  Recently I had CO2 laser treatment, and weeks later - I developed massive clusters around my anus.  (I have never had any sex contact down there!).  I had those removed with CO2, and now , weeks later, I have a feeling (red, itchy, warm feeling) that its on my inner thigh!!  It feels like an epidemic!

I have read the smoke from the laser may transmit HPV further,but my doctor said no....only skin to skin....but I can;t help think this really created problems!!!

Any thoughts?   Also, any thoughts to the warm, tingly feeling...I cant help but think its a cluster just waiting to burst! usually its not, but it drives me crazy!!
