Genital Pimples

Genital Pimples

About 6 months ago I experienced a severe (self diagnosed) case of folliculitis in my pubic area.  It appeared the day after having protected sex with a lot of friction.  It started with what looked like a few pimples and quickly spread over the next few days.  The pimples (100+) had white heads and hairs coming out of the center of them.  I took an antibiotic for two weeks and stopped shaving.  The area healed and was pimple free for quite some time.  The pimples were never painful and popped very easily if squeezed.  I have not had sex in quite some time and I am now experiencing a different kind of breakout.  I have flesh colored bumps (15-20) that are not painful but are noticeable if the area is examined by eye or touch.  Some appear to have really small white spots in the center under the skin but they don't pop if you try to squeeze them.  I have had them for the last week.  They may have been caused by working out and not showering quickly after.  I never experienced these in the past.  Is it possible that this area to be damaged from friction related to sex?  From what I can tell these bumps and the past outbreak look and feel nothing like herpes would but I have not been tested for any STDs.

sounds like you may have genital warts, HPV, you should get to a GYN to have them checked out.
