Genital warts? Genital Herpes?

I had unprotected sex 2-3 months ago. About a month after I had sex, I noticed I had some uncomfortable itching, which lasted about 3 weeks. I also got really sick...massive headaches, muscle aches and pains, sore throat and a cough...which I've read can be symptoms of genital herpes. Two weeks ago I noticed some flesh colored bumps at the lower part of the shaft of my penis. The don't hurt at all, nor itch. They're barely noticeable, unless I pull the skin back. When I do this they look like a cluster of bumps under the skin. My question is...could this possibly be genital warts (HPV) or genital herpes? Responses are appreciated. I have an appointment with the dermatologist next week. I'm just very worried because I've never had anything like this before.

I got my diagnosis from the dermatologist - "sebaceous gland hyperplasia". It's genetic. He didn't give me any treatment advice. Said that they'll "be there". From what I've read online there's really no way to make them go away for good. So I may just let them be for now unless they start to look very bad cosmetically speaking.

Thank you for the comments. They aren't "cauliflower-like" but there's just no other explanation based on my research. I have an appointment with the dermatologist next week. I'll keep you posted.

Hello,
I cannot confirm anything without examination but the symptoms are suggestive of genital warts.Warts are cauliflower-like protuberances and are usually symptomless. They are spread through direct skin-to-skin contact during oral, genital, or anal sex with an infected partner.Herpes presents as one or more blisters on or around the genitals or rectum. The blisters break, leaving tender ulcers (sores) that may take two to four weeks to heal the first time they occur.

I sincerely auggest you to get the diagnosis confirmed from a dermatologist as treatment depends on the same.

I hope it helps.Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing or if you have any additional doubts.Kind regards.
