Granuloma Annulare

by laxmom, Jan 09, 2003 12:00AM
My 33-year old daughter has been suffering from Granuloma Annulare since she was 16-years old.  What treatments are available to control the condition and is there a cure for it?

The condition often goes away by itself, though it may hang around for a while.  Dermatologists use cortisone creams, or injections of cortisone.  In my expreience, these don't work all that well.  A cortisone-containing tape (Cordran tape) may help flatten lesions.  Sometimes, though, the best thing to do is wait.

Best.
