Groin Rash

I have a red groin rash in between my legs but not on my genitals, although near my genitals that I caught from my brother's (clean) underwear.  It goes away with Lamasil, but if I wash with soap, or get sweat there it comes back.  It is also on the head of my penis and probably up my arse.  I think it is redder around the edges although not too sure

The symptoms are suggestive of Jock itch. Jock itch shows up in post-adolescent men and hormonal changes during puberty, lifestyle and heredity each play a role. Predisposing fungal disease like tines cruris may also aggravate it.

Keep your groin area dry and keep a separate towel for yourself. Most forms of jock itch respond to over-the-counter products, which contain any of several basic ingredients: miconazole, tolnaftate, terbinafine, and clotrimazole. You can get them prescribed.

Is there a cure for jock itch?  I have cream but the symptoms keep coming back after a while
