Groin issue

Ok here is my issue I have had 2 previous issues in 2 years with groin irritation.  Both issues came after shaving and led to a red scrotum and small whiteheads in my groin region with cracking skin in my groin fold.  Both times it freaked me out.  I have OCD and am a hypochondriac.   On Friday after a long run I examined my groin and on my left side, well below the scrotum I noticed a reddish mark close to where my underwear band touches.   This mark didn't change all weekend.  Today I went on another run and the mark was starting to fade.  Tonight I look and there are 4 other marks near the original mark.    I am worried I'm about to have another groin rash.  I have nothing in my groin folds yet,  no itching or burning.  My question is dies this sound like the start of a jock itch rash or yeast rash or possibly just irritation from running ?

Thank you doctor,  I have two follow up questions if you dont mind.  First when I went to my dermatologist about this issue last year he took a quick look and said it was yeast because of what he called satellite lesions but when I looked online it looked nothing like a yeast rash just red bumps on hundreds of hair follicles with white heads.  This rash never spread past the area I shaved and never itched.   I used the cream he prescribed for almost a month and the rash improved very slowly and eventually went away.   Is it possible he misdiagnosed this ?

2nd for my own future reference.  What are the symptoms of a yeast rash these bumps I get tend to pop up after running or working out and vanish within 2 days.  Yesterday I worked out and walked a round of golf.  Last night I noticed a red patch where the underside of my penis meets my scrotum.  It looks like about 5 hair follicles are bright red and some veins are showing in that are giving it a red appearance.   This spot has not progressed and does not burn or itch.   Are these common issues I used to miss before I began examining myself ?

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
What you are having is chafing along with folliculitis skin.
Do not use any cosmetic products at the sites. You can apply some calamine lotion at the rash as it will help in soothing the skin. Also wear cotton undergarments. Application of mild corticosteroid cream prescribed by your doctor and oral antiinflammatories like ibuprofen/acetaminophen are also helpful.  Topical antibiotics such as mupirocin or neomycin containing ointment are also useful on the bumps. If the symptoms are severe then it will be best to consult a dermatologist.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
