Grover's Disease and Moisturizer

I itch all over--it's terrible. I was diagnosed with Grover's about a year ago. I have flare ups that last for severals days and weeks. I am having trouble now, and for the past two nights I have really lathered up with moisturizer cream. I think my itching is worse from this. Has anyone with Grover's found that moisturizer makes it worse? Thank you.
