Growth around anus.
Well I have noticed a growth around my anus, it is actually fairly new. Over a course of about a year, I have noticed it get bigger. It doesn't cause me any discomfort, just an annoyance rather. It has little to no feeling in it, which I thought was a little weird. It isn't connect by very much tissue, so it can be moved around easily. I'm just curious as to what it may be, and if I should see a specialist for this? Any help would be very much appreciated.

Some facts: 23 years old, and I smoke.

Hello,
These can be due to moles, skin tags, cysts, warts or external hemorrhoids. Symptoms of external hemorrhoids may include swelling or a hard lump around the anus which may itch or cause pain.

I suggest you to get an evaluation done by a dermatologist to confirm the diagnosis.

I hope it helps. Take care and regards.
