Melkersson Rosenthal Syndrome can involve face, lips and the development of folds and furrows in the tongue. It can involve the gums , palate, cheeks and eyelids. Treatment consist of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) and corticosteroids to reduce swelling, as well as antibiotics and immunosuppressants. Massage and electrical stimulation may also be prescribed.
