My handsHand or foot spasms Hand tremor have been peeling pretty badly for about two years now. Its mainly on the fingertips, but when the fingertips dont peel, the lower fingersAmputated finger Amyloidosis on the fingers Clubbed fingers Cryoglobulinemia - of the fingers Finger pain Herpes zoster (shingles) on the hand and fingers Janeway lesion on the finger Kawasaki's disease, peeling of the fingertips Nail abnormalities Replantation of digits Ringworm, tinea manuum on the finger and palms peel. My skin is not dry, my handsHand or foot spasms Hand tremor actually tend to sweatSweat electrolytes test Sweat test Sweating Sweating - absent. I have seem multiple derms and doctors, all who have given multiple and different opinions. Some think its general eczema, one thinks its a fungal infection, and one thinks its dyshidrosis. Its not dishydrosis, because my handsHand or foot spasms Hand tremor do not itch at all. Sometimes littleLittle noses decongestant Little tummys white blisters form and peel, but a lot of the times the skin just peels like its dead and leaves my fingtips raw and very unpleasant to deal with, but they do not puss or ooze and itch, so i wouldnt think its dyshidrosis.
I have been prescribed augmentin antibiotic multiple times, and basically everytime my hands have almost or completely healed up for a couple of months which would lead me to think its an infection, but i dont understand why my hands would keep getting infected. When they do clear up, they will be fine for a month or two then just peel again.
Some steroid creams also help a lot. Augmented Betamethasone Diproprionate Ointment helps clear them up temporarily, as well as Clobetasol Propionate. Only temporarily though.
I thought it may be Exfoliative Keratolysis, but with that condition, steroid creams do not help, but they seem to help clear up my hands somewhat, so i almost want to rule that out, though my symptoms resemble this condition a lot.
I only shower once a day and have recently switched to Burts Bees shampoo to rule out any soap irritants, but they still peel. I dont work in any chemicals either.
I just want to have a correct diagnosis. Can anyone help me, please??

Hello,
Various possibilities for peeling hands are trauma and allergic or irritant contact dermatitis, contact with harsh detergents, soaps and lotions that contain perfume can cause hands and fingertips to become irritated and peel.Sometimes cold, dry air can cause peeling and dermatitis or fungal infections can also cause peeling.
Wash the areas several times with fresh water. Do not use any cosmetic products at the sites. You can apply some calamine lotion at the rash as it will help in soothing the skin. For mild-moderate symptoms a weak steroid may be used (e.g. hydrocortisone as dermacort), whilst more severe cases require a higher-potency steroid (e.g. clobetasol propionate, fluocinonide).
Symptoms can be exacerbated by dryness of the skin. Use good quality moisturizers to prevent moisture loss from the skin. During the day, hydrate and protect hands with a protective and moisturizing cream. At night, repair them with creams formulated from glycolic acid—a must for improving skin texture and tone. If still the symptoms do not improve then pls get a clinical examination done by a dermatologist. Fungal infections have to be ruled out then.
Hope it helps. Take care and pls do keep me posted on how you are doing or if you have any additional queries.Kind regards.
