I have a dark red-ish rash underneath both my arms, in the area where I shave and apply deodorant. It is painfulPainful menstrual periods when I move to much, and itches. It appeared a few days ago and got very irritated. It is dry and peeling around the edges.
Hello,
From the symptoms it looks like irritant contact dermatitis and boil. Please keep the area clean and apply some topical antiseptics. Also wear loose-fitting cotton clothing and use an antibacterial soap or mild soap like dove. Avoid any kind of cosmetics. Topical antibiotics such as mupirocinMupirocin Mupirocin topical or neomycinNeomycin Neomycin so4/hc/neomycin/polymyxin b so4 Neomycin sulfate Neomycin-dexamethasone ophthalmic Neomycin/polymyxin b/prednisolone ophthalmic containing ointment are also useful. In case the symptoms persist then oral antibiotics may be needed. Please consult a dermatologist in that case.
I hope it helps. Take care and please do keep me posted in case you have any additional doubts. Kind regards.
