HELP ME PLEASE- spreading!

Hi, i'm 18 and last friday my underarm was hurting, like sore to the touch and had a little lump. mum said its my lympf node.. that day i also noticed a few red pimply things on my chest between my brests, which i thought was weird because i dont normally get pimples on my body.. then the next day with underarm still tender about 15 centermetres directly underneath that right underarm i noticed an obvious quite large cluster of those pimply things.  It is oval in shape about 2cm long and 5cm wide its red in colour, lumpy- lots of bumps clustered together..and occasionally gets a little itchy it is much more noticible..
mum just said its dermatitis and to put this DermAid cream on it i have been for the past 5 days and have seen no improvement..  I am also starting to notice random red pimply like lumps on my chest and stomach..
Its irritating me and i dont no what is is! - i want to get it fixed!!!

PLEASE HELP

thankyou so much!!

Hi,

How old are you? Since how long have you noticed the lumps?

Underarm lumps are axillary lymph nodes which could be enlarged secondary to infection or even trauma and in rare cases due to malignancy. They are usually enlarged when a new deodorant is used, after shaving or waxing the underarm area.

Have you got an ultrasound done as yet and have you got a clinical examination got done by a physician? This would help in coming to a confirmed diagnosis.

Let us know if you have any more doubts and keep us posted on how you are doing.

Let us know about the mammogram report too.

Hope this helps.

Regards.

Hydrocortizone cream works quickly and oral antihistamines will start to work within a hour. Nothing in what you say makes me think it is contagious, but if you develop further problems like nausea or a temperature i would see a doctor. Loiloi x

It is unlikely to be pimples (as in acne vulgaris) if it itches. It is more likely to be hives or allergic contact dermatitis. Take an anti-histamine and use some hydrocortizone cream. If it does not improve or you develop any other symptoms like swelling or trouble breathing seek medical attention as allergies can be dangerous. Loiloi x
