I have had a wart on my penis, near the groin area but on my penis, for awhile, pretty visible. Doesn't hurt, no discharge, no effects, it has been there for about 6 months. I am sexually active but am very confident and careful in the selection of my partners (about 3 in the past 3 years), I have even had them take std tests (although I am not sure this would show an HPV like a papshmear). I am curious how you would tell between an HPV or folcytis (spelling?). I read that folcytis is apparent in about 90% of men but I am obviously worried about the other, mainly for my girlfriend.
What does only because I am worrying about it supposed to mean?
1. Do all genital warts turn white from a vinegar wash, even though this may highlight other things other than warts.
No.
2. Do warts just show up overnight.
No.
3. Will they start out small and grow large or could they just start out as a large mass.
They start small.
4. I have also been on minocin ( discharge issues mentioned at the beginning for prostatis ) for three weeks. I have read that a rare side effect is pruritus of the genital area.
Never heard of it.
5. Could this itching be HPV related.
Only because you're worrying about it.
If you can't see warts and the doctor couldn't see warts, then you don't have warts. And you can see warts without a magnifying glass.
