HPV

by dadada, Mar 07, 2006 12:00AM
I was diagnosed with HPV about 6 years ago.  I was getting my warts treated for a few years with cryosurgery, some would go away and come back and other would not go away at all. This went on for a while until finally I gave up.  I used aldera and other meds before I used the cryo treatments.

Is it possible they are not warts? What else could it be? Wouldn't any skin condition go away from cryo?
They are all over my scrotum they are raised clear bumps, they itch as well.

I was about to say that, sure, warts can keep coming back or not completely going away, even with cryo.  Then I read your last sentence: "They are all over my scrotum they are raised clear bumps, they itch as well."  That doesn't sound like warts at all, but rather like cysts many people have on their scrotum.  If I were you, I'd get another opinion.

Best.

how are cysts treated?  Could it be eczema?  what else could it be?  It is very itchy and they are all over the scrotum, the skin is also very dry to the point where it has cuts in it.  The bumps itself also get very dry.

Cysts are a normal part of people.  The scrotum is often itchy whether there are cysts or not.  For dry skin use vaseline.

About two night ago i slept with a girl who told me she had herpes the next day. She wasnt having an outbreak, and i had a condom on, until it broke and then put another one on. I was drunk and hardly remember using one the entire time. There was really no penetration due to the fact that i was unable to get hard. The next day i had noticed a very very small scab like thing on the bottom of my penis. i Had a waterlike wart bump but from previous irritation, would that increase my chanches of getting it? what do you think my chances are?

I have the HPV infection.  I passed the infection to my girlfriend who eventually developed cervical cancer.  I do not get frequent wart breakouts on my penis.  When I do get warts on my penis they are very few.  However, I am concerned about these white spots on my penis.  They are not ulcers. They do not bleed or discharge any liquid.  They are spots.  They are discolorations of the skin.  I have dark brown skin.  The bottom shaft of my penis has spots on the skin that lost pigmentation.  What could this be?  Is it penile cancer or some cancerous melenoma starting on the skin of my penis?  I am going to biopsy these spots with a urologist after strongly urging my primary care physician to refer me.  WHAT DO I HAVE?

Sincerely,

Zack
