Another question... Can HPV turn into Herpes or anything else? Thanks again for your help in advance. I hope i did leave anything out, if so, please ask me anything you'd like...
Hi,
HPV infect the skin and mucous membranes of humans.About 30-40 HPV types are typically transmitted through sexual contact and infect the anogenital region. Some sexually transmitted HPVs may cause genital warts. However, other HPV types which may infect the genitals do not cause any noticeable signs of infection.
Once cells are invaded by HPV, a latency (quiet) period of months to years may occur. The latency period means the HPV virus is in an incubation period. Having sex with a partner whose HPV infection is in the incubation period still leaves one vulnerable to becoming infected. HPV virus can last from 3 months to 2 years without visible changes, making it difficult for an infectee to establish the source of infection.
Although it is possible to test for HPV DNA in men, there are no FDA-approved tests for general screening, since the testing is inconclusive and considered medically unnecessary.
Genital warts are the only visible sign of HPV in men, and can be identified with a visual check of the genital area. Warts are outgrowths of skin.
You may need to get the penis checked by a dermatologist. It could be an inflammation or fungal infection.
HPV cannot turn into herpes.Herpes produces blister-like lesions.

Thanks for the reply, I'd like to say something else...
The outbreak Im having is a redish area on my penis, about 3-4 cenimeters long, its right before it gets to the head of my penis, there is nothing on my head just near it. Its red, sometimes rough and almost looks like its peeling... there are also red dots noticible around the penis, not on the head. These dots are sometimes easily felt, and sometimes not. Most of them look like there peeling. What could it be? I'll be getting checked during the week. I just wanted to have some insight for the time being, cuz I'm very curious. Thank again
