HPV?

A long time ago I had a verruca plana dx'd on my knee. We tried multiple times to burn it off and it just kept coming back so my Dr told me to just wait it out until my body killed it. I did and shaved over it for years. Suddenly, however, I am noticing very small plana interdispersed in my bikini line. Are these considered genital wart? Do I need to be concerned if I have any sexual contact with someone else and I have plana in my bikini line? Do these need to be treated?
