Hair loss,,oily scalp

Hi, Can you tell me?,,Ive always has oily skin which has decreased as I got older. Im now 45yrs and my hair line has been receeding at the front, very slowly, for more than 10yrs(only about an inch). The thing is,, the now bald area gets really oily up to my hair line. Can this oiliness be causing the balding? And,,if I get a hair transplant,,will the new hair be effected by the oily skin? Thanks.
