Hair loss due to folliculitis or psoriasis

Hi I am a young 23 year old male who has had an itchy scalp for a while.  I tried numerous dandruff shampoos but none of them do the trick.  I itch my hair a lot and now I have been noticing my hair has been falling out when I itch and at the end of the hair is a white bulb sort of thing.  I am not sure if this is due to the dranddruff or if it is folliculitis?  I tried using t-sal shampoo but I think it is too harsh on my hair with the salicytic acid.  Any ideas on what I can do? Thanks..

Hi,

You may be having a fungal infections. a doctor would be able to help you better with the diagnosis and treatment.you need not worry to much as after treatment the hair will get better and the hair fall would decrease.

meanwhile, use some anti-histamines for the itching and try to keep the scalp free from moisture.

keep us psoted and let us know if you may need more help.

best regards
