Hair loss with chronic constipation?

Hello, I am 23-years-old and have diffuse hair loss as well as chronic constipation. I have had my thyroid checked twice in the past few months and it came back normal both times. I was diagnosed with sebhorreic dermatitis which was said to perhaps be the cause of my hair loss. In my family there is no history of hair loss and it really does seem to be connected with the constipation. Do these two things go hand in hand? Is there anything I can do? Eating lots of fiber just gives me a ton of gas. I also noticed I get tons of canker sores in my mouth at times (usually 2-3 at once, seldom only one) and random muscles all over my body will twitch erratically for a limited time. Any help is appreciated.

Possible cause seborrheic dermatitis. Try B-carotene containing fruits and vegetables.
