Hair loss

Hi . So about the middle of feb maybe first week if march I started noticing that I was losing a lot of hair in the shower. As weeks went on it still was happening. I started to see my brush fill up more with hair as well as shedding more. Now it's August. My hair has been itchy. Sometimes it feels as someone pulled my hair and can  be tingly. I went to the dermatologist and well they said I'm ok. And than out me on some pill that is suppose to help. Well it's not helping. Like right now my hair is itching and sometimes almost feels as its burning in certain locations:-(. Every time I shower it seems as the hair just falls out. Or if I run my hair through I get a lot if hair. I had very thick hair so I can definitely tell that I have lost a significant amount. It also seems that's I may have dandruff too. The flakiness has recently started maybe 2 months ago. I'm so nervous I don't even dry my hair nor do I wash it as much as I hate the effect. Has anyone felt like this. I don't know what to do. I'm sick of people telling me I'm ok. I do have another appt next week and I will demand a biopsy. So worried :-( can anyone help me.

If it weren't for the itchiness and the flaking skin I would said that you were just going bald. But it sounds like something else and, I am sorry, I don't know what. Do you have symptoms of anything at all anywhere else in your body?
