I already went to three doctors, two of them said it's not alopecia and injection is not needed.
My questions are:
do you think it's alopecia areata although the spots are not completely hairless?
Is it possible that this is the side effect of injection ?
Should I do another injection on the same spots if the problem is not injected related?
Will using Elocom 0.1% lotion be helpful?
any idea?
Hi,my 13 year old daughter has alopecia areata and on her head some spots are copletely hairless and some are not.I think that what you have might be alopecia areata. An old remedy is rubbing garlic clove that you cut in half on the hairless spot and leaving it overnight.Just be careful,if your scalp is sensitive from the cortisone treatment, wait for a couple of days before you start the garlic treatment.
