Hair loss

Hello,
Within two days Irealized red itchy hairless spots on the front part of my scalp. In one week the number of spots increased to 5 then after that it stopped.
I went to dermatologist and he said that it's not Alopecia areata because the spots are not completely hair less. He did the pull test but no hair came out. What I have to mention is that about two months before I saw the visible spots on my scalp, I went to a dermatologist and he injected the steroid into my scalp due to thin hair in the front of the scalp. I should mention that at that time there was no hairless spots on my scalp. so he did this because I complained about the thin area in front of scalp. It seems like the spots that I have right now are the same spots that steroid was injected.

I already went to three doctors, two of them said it's not alopecia and injection is not needed.

My questions are:
do you think it's alopecia areata although the spots are not completely hairless?
Is it possible that this is the side effect of injection ?
Should I do another injection on the same spots if the problem is not injected related?
Will using Elocom 0.1% lotion be helpful?
any idea?

Thanks alot

Hi,my 13 year old daughter has alopecia areata and on her head some spots are copletely hairless and some are not.I think that what you have might be alopecia areata. An old remedy is rubbing garlic clove that you cut in half on the hairless spot and leaving it overnight.Just be careful,if your scalp is sensitive from the cortisone treatment, wait for a couple of days before you start the garlic treatment.
