Hard skinned nodule on skin

two years before...i have noticed a small(1mm) hard skin usually found after healing a wound. So i just peeled it away. Then i noticed that it got replaced and was growing.

At present it has grown to a nodule like form of about 5mm.
It has a hard skin covering(mainly at the top of the nodule) and when peeled it gets replaced. It is slightly growing also....the location of this is just above the buttocks. No such growth are present at any other part of the skin.

what may be it...a wart or a tumor.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
From the symptoms, since this lump is painless, it can be a cyst, wart or some benign or malignant growth of skin. For confirming the diagnosis, I suggest you to get an evaluation done from a dermatologist as biopsy skin may need to be done.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your dermatologist/ urologist. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
