Heat rash?

A couple of weeks ago I took a motorcycle riding class, it was in 90 degree heat, on asphalt, full face helmet on, in a parking lot, for 6 hours for two days. It was HOT!! I developed red, non itchy bumps on my face, on my cheeks, under my eyes along my cheekbone. It looked like I had some sort of acne break out at first, but they didnt feel like pimples, so I figured it was heat rash from wearing a helmet, no big deal. But it's two weeks later and I still have it! And every time I get a lot of sun it gets worse. On one side it kind of looks like poison ivy, but it doesn't itch. On the other cheek its just red bumps. Is it heat rash? How long can heat rash last? Should I go to a dr. or will it clear up on its own? I can't really avoid being outside in the sun a lot or sweating, so what can I do to help it? Thank you!
