Help!! I am concerned..could *This* be melanoma??

About a month ago I noticed a small red area on my chest(mid chest area between the breasts and neck), that looked like it could be a burn..like something spattered while cooking.  I have not picked at or itched it.  Lately it has taken on an irregular shape.  It is not brown, but turning to a deeper red. It is now a little larger than the eraser on a pencil, and quite noticeable when looking in the mirror.(of course I am aware of it)  It does not seem to be sore or to itch.  Today I noticed today two more smaller spots (new) on my chest. I guess my question would be could this be melanoma even though it is not on an existing mole, and is not brown?  I have had numerous squamous cell cancers removed, but that was between 5 & 10 years ago.
Thank you..

This lesion started much too fast for melanoma to be likley.  Also, the fact that you have more than one spot makes melanoma even less likely--you don't pop up wht multiple melanomas.  Any other cancer seems remote, for the same reason.

Most likely you have some irritation or rash, perhaps aggravated by rubbing and picking from anxiety.

My advice is to leave the spots alone, apply bacitracin or neosporin daily, and show the spots to a doctor if they're still there in a mmonth, or if they spread.

Best.
