Help my nose!! Cyst shrinking tips??

One day a few weeks ago I noticed my nose looked odd. When I pushed on the tip of it, it felt as though there was a firm bump under the skin but not a pimple. Dr. says it's a cyst and that hopefully it will shrink and go away on it's own. It has gotten a bit bigger in one week. I don't want to have it cut out because it's on the end of my nose and I prefer not to have a scar. Mt friends say they can't notice it until I point it out so maybe it's not big enough to worry about yet, however; my nose is a little sore. Any ideas on other ways to shrink this thing? Im getting married in 4 months and don't want my skin falling off either. I also take ortho Tri cyclen lo. Do you think this could have caused it?
