Help prevent/treat scarring, and does steroid rosacea treatment differ from rosacea treatment
Hi,
I recently was diagnosed with rosacea, however I am fairly sure that it is steroid rosacea as a result of use of Dermovate. The flare ups occur on my forehead
and T-zone, and as a result of a recent one, I have fairly large scabs. (I was wearing something like a bandana for a day and it rubbed against my forehead
and seemed to have made it raw and inflamed, and turned into scars overnight). I have started applying metrogel 1% to the area. However, I am concerned if this is the best treatment as I have heard that steroid rosacea is different than regular rosacea, and thus needs a different treatment.
I also would like to know if there is anything I could do/take to help prevent these scabs from scarring, as they are fairly large.
