Help with bumps on hands

5026863?1256849899
These bumps will start as painful itchy bumps, this will last a day or so, then it will just be painful. Then they will disappear. They will last for 3-4 days and then they will be gone for about 3-4 weeks and then they will reappear. Usually they come in 5-7 bumps, but now I am sick with a cold and my hands have broken out with bumps and there are probably roughly 50 on each hands. Please help!

I went to a dermatologist who said they were warts and burned them off, but my primary has now said something different.

Hello,
There are various possibilities for your symptoms. They include contact dermatitis[a skin reaction resulting from exposure to allergens (allergic contact dermatitis) or irritants (irritant contact dermatitis)],nummular dermatitis(a form of eczema),heat rash, erythema nodosum(an inflammation of the fat cells under the skin),Q fever(a disease caused by infection with Coxiella burnetii, a bacterium) or treponema infection or spirochetal infection.

I feel that an evaluation by a dermatologist will help in making a diagnosis as without
examination, diagnosis is tough.

Hope it helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
